Emirates Named Best Airline in the World for Eighth Year Running
Emirates has once again secured its position as a global aviation leader after being named Best Airline in the World for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRAs, one of the travel industry’s most respected award ceremonies.
The Dubai-based carrier also earned the title Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class, while President Sir Tim Clark received a distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation.
Sir Tim Clark expressed gratitude to travellers worldwide, noting that the airline’s consistent recognition reflects its commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
He highlighted ongoing investments in fleet modernisation, network expansion, hospitality training, and digital innovation as central to Emirates’ mission of enabling passengers to “fly better”.
Emirates’ global appeal stems from its extensive network of more than 150 destinations and its fleet of Airbus A380s, A350s, and Boeing 777s. The airline remains renowned for its premium cabins, regionally inspired dining, award-winning entertainment, and exclusive amenities such as onboard lounges and private suites.
Its Premium Economy cabin continues to receive industry-wide praise for its comfort, design, and service quality, now available on routes connecting Dubai with 61 cities.
Sir Tim’s career, which began in 1972 and includes over four decades of service to Emirates, has played a pivotal role in shaping the carrier’s rise to one of the world’s most influential airlines. The ULTRAs recognition adds to a year of significant accolades for both the airline and its loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards.
The ULTRAs awards are determined by votes from over 1.2 million seasoned travellers from the Ultratravel network, underscoring Emirates’ sustained excellence and global appeal.
