FAB Commits to Industrial Growth with Proudly Zambian Campaign
First Alliance Bank (FAB) has officially joined the Proudly Zambian Campaign, a national initiative designed to promote locally produced goods and services while driving the growth of indigenous industries.
As one of Zambia’s fastest-growing locally owned banks, FAB’s decision to become an active member underlines its commitment to economic development, entrepreneurship, and the country’s long-term prosperity.
Through its membership, the bank has pledged to align financial services with Zambia’s industrialisation and localisation goals by:
- Providing tailor-made financing solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs);
- Encouraging consumer confidence in Zambian-made products and services by adopting Proudly Zambian principles;
- Supporting job creation by partnering with enterprises that directly impact employment and community development;
- Promoting national identity by fostering pride in Zambian innovation, productivity, and resilience.
Speaking at the announcement, FAB Chief Executive Officer, Dr Kuldip Paliwal, described the move as both strategic and symbolic.
“Joining the Proudly Zambian Campaign is more than a symbolic gesture; it is a commitment to walk hand in hand with our people, our entrepreneurs, and our industries in building a stronger Zambia. At FAB, we believe in the potential of Zambians to produce world-class goods and services, and we are proud to be part of the ecosystem that makes this possible,” he said.
The Proudly Zambian Campaign continues to attract key players across sectors, and the inclusion of First Alliance Bank is expected to enhance access to finance for local businesses. This, in turn, will strengthen the campaign’s objectives of industrial growth, job creation, and inclusive economic development.
