TECNO Celebrates 10 Years in Zambia with Bold Giveback Campaign

TECNO Mobile, a leading smartphone brand under Transsion Holdings, is marking its 10th anniversary in Zambia with a bold celebration that reflects a decade of technological innovation, community investment, and customer appreciation.

To honor this milestone, TECNO Zambia has launched a nationwide “10 for 10” campaign, 10 impactful initiatives to thank the Zambian people for a decade of loyalty and support. The campaign aims to empower communities through education, health, and economic inclusion while making TECNO’s premium technology even more accessible.

“Ten is a big number for us,” said Chilambu Mofu, Marketing Manager at TECNO Zambia. “The continuous support from the people of Zambia means everything. We are celebrating by giving back and committing to an even stronger presence in the years to come.”

Key Highlights of the 10 for 10 Campaign Include:

  • 10 for 10 University Initiative: TECNO will sponsor 10% of tuition fees for selected university students, reinforcing its commitment to youth empowerment and access to education.
  • 10% Off Selected Smartphones: Customers will enjoy special discounts on TECNO devices during the campaign, making advanced smartphones more affordable to more people.
  • Celebrity-led CSR Activations: Popular Zambian figures Macky 2 and Michie will lead community outreach activities focused on education, health, and youth development, further strengthening TECNO’s engagement at the grassroots level.

Since entering the Zambian market in 2015, TECNO has transformed from a new entrant into a household name, powering classrooms, clinics, businesses, and homes with smart, affordable, and stylish technology. Known for its camera innovations and user-centric designs, the brand has also been instrumental in promoting digital inclusion and entrepreneurship.

“We are not just looking back at our achievements,” Mofu added. “We are looking forward to deeper community engagement, more innovation, and continuing to serve Zambia with excellence.”
