Emirates Unveils First Reimagined Travel Store in Seoul to Mark 20 Years in South Korea
Emirates has launched its first-ever Travel Store in Seoul, South Korea, redefining the airline’s customer experience with a modern, immersive retail space that reflects its signature luxury and innovation. The opening marks a major milestone in Emirates’ 20-year journey of connecting South Korea to the world.
Located in Seoul’s bustling Jongno-gu district, the 132-square-metre Travel Store offers a personalised touchpoint for Korean travellers. Guests can explore Emirates’ iconic First Class Private Suite, enjoy curated travel consultations, and interact with cutting-edge digital tools, including a selfie mirror and smart booking kiosks.
The grand opening was attended by senior Emirates executives, including Nabil Sultan, EVP for Passenger Sales and Country Management, and Orhan Abbas, SVP for Commercial Operations in the Far East, as well as UAE Ambassador to South Korea, H.E. Abdulla Saif Ali Al Nuaimi.
Sultan described the store as “a locally inspired extension of our ‘Fly Better’ promise,” combining refined aesthetics with Emirates’ world-class service. The interior design blends warm beige tones with UAE cultural elements, including the symbolic Ghaf tree.
Since launching operations in 2005, Emirates has carried over 5 million passengers between Seoul and Dubai across more than 14,000 flights. It currently operates 10 weekly services, including its upgraded Boeing 777-300ER offering Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class cabins on EK324/325.
The new store is expected to further strengthen Emirates’ brand presence in East Asia and deepen its engagement with Korean customers through immersive experiences and high-touch service.
