ZCA, LCCI Forge Alliance to Boost Trade and Investment
The Zambia Chinese Association (ZCA) and the Lusaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) have inked a corporation agreement aimed at enhancing trade and investment opportunities. The signing ceremony, held at the ZCA offices in Lusaka, marked a new chapter of collaboration between the two business entities.
LCCI President Alexander Lawrence highlighted the importance of the agreement, emphasizing its role in facilitating business networking, trade linkages, and advocating for policies that make doing business in Lusaka and Zambia more affordable.
“We aim to establish a robust market link network in Lusaka and ensure policies protect the interests of local businesses while attracting valuable technology in key sectors such as healthcare, steel, and mining,” Lawrence stated.
ZCA President Zhang Jian expressed optimism about the partnership, describing it as a commitment to fostering economic ties and mutual prosperity.
The agreement focuses on areas such as trade promotion, investment opportunities, capacity building, and information exchange. This collaboration is expected to drive economic growth, enhance innovation, and strengthen ties between local and international business communities.
