Emirates Extends Partnership with Australian Open Until 2029

Emirates has renewed its partnership with Tennis Australia, remaining the Official Airline of the Australian Open for another five years. The extension, effective until 2029, marks a decade-long collaboration between the airline and the iconic tournament, with a focus on community impact and tennis accessibility.

Emirates and the Australian Tennis Foundation (ATF) will invest $2.25 million over the next five years through the airline’s ‘Force for Good’ programme. The initiative aims to provide underprivileged children and youth across five Australian cities with free tennis programs.

These programs will foster physical and mental well-being while promoting skills like resilience and teamwork.

Barry Brown, Emirates’ Divisional Vice President for Australasia, emphasized the airline’s ongoing commitment to Australia, stating, “This renewed partnership not only strengthens our bond with Tennis Australia but also enhances our ability to support local communities.”

Emirates will continue to offer fans unique experiences at the Australian Open, including Kids Tennis Day, Emirates Day, and an exclusive hospitality suite.

Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the positive impact of the ‘Force for Good’ initiative. “We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for young Australians,” he said.

In addition to its support for the Australian Open, Emirates’ global sponsorship portfolio spans all four Grand Slam tournaments, enhancing its connection to tennis fans worldwide. The airline’s commitment to promoting sports and culture extends beyond tennis, with sponsorships in arts, music, and cultural initiatives across Australia.

Emirates’ ongoing presence at the Australian Open promises to bring unforgettable moments for tennis fans, combining luxury travel, community support, and world-class sporting events.
