Paratus Group Expands into Kenya with Launch of Paratus Kenya
Paratus Group, a leading Pan-African telecommunications and network services provider, has launched operations in Kenya, marking a significant milestone in its sub-equatorial expansion.
The new entity, Paratus Kenya, is a joint venture with MoveOn Telecoms Ltd., a Nairobi-based IT and ISP company licensed since 2015 to deliver ICT solutions across Kenya.
The company will initially provide Starlink services, following Paratus Group’s role as an authorized Starlink reseller across Africa. Starlink’s high-speed broadband internet, powered by low Earth orbit satellites, promises enhanced connectivity even in remote areas, ensuring 99.5% uptime for business continuity and fostering growth.
Joseph Kibwott, Managing Director of Paratus Kenya, emphasized the transformative potential of reliable internet for Kenya’s economic development, including remote work, telemedicine, and e-government services.
Martin Cox, Chief Commercial Officer of Paratus Group, called the launch a “giant step forward” in connecting underserved African regions. He added, “This expansion strengthens our network services and aligns with our mission to empower Africa with robust, scalable connectivity.”
This move comes shortly after Paratus inaugurated operations in Eswatini, reinforcing its aggressive growth strategy across the continent.
