The graduation ceremony, held on 17 October 2024, was officiated by Air Officer Commanding Training Command, Brigadier General Thomas Chewe, who shared congratulatory messages from Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Commander, Lieutenant General Oscar Msitu Nyoni.

Brig Gen Chewe highlighted the significance of the rigorous training program, designed to equip the airmen with essential skills in fields such as Clerk Finance, Clerk Supply, Clerk Secretarial, Provost, Catering, and Music for the Air Force Brass Band.

He emphasized that the completion of the program reflects ZAF’s confidence in the graduates’ capabilities, as they transition into specialized roles within the force.

“Your training has been a testament to your resilience and determination. It is now time to take these skills and apply them in service to the Zambia Air Force and the nation,” Chewe remarked. He also stressed the importance of maintaining physical fitness, health awareness, and discipline, particularly in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Station Commander Colonel Oliver Bwalya commended the graduates for their discipline and commitment during the training period. He also acknowledged the support provided by the Samora Machel Station in ensuring that trainees had access to comprehensive care, from nutrition to medical services and recreational facilities.

“I am proud to state that there were no disciplinary issues among the trainees, reflecting their commendable conduct,” Col Bwalya noted.

Flight Sergeant Munyau Danny was named the overall best student, representing the highest standards of dedication and excellence throughout the course.
