Truecaller Expands Business Chat Platform to Global Partners
Truecaller has announced the global expansion of its Business Chat platform, opening access to channel partners and enterprise solution providers in a move aimed at transforming how businesses communicate with customers.
The company said the expansion will enable partners to help enterprise clients move away from traditional SMS, often criticised for low trust and limited engagement, towards a more secure, interactive, and media-rich communication experience.
According to Priyam Bose, the shift reflects changing expectations in modern business communication.
“The definition of success for modern enterprises has fundamentally evolved. It is no longer just about delivery – it is about earning attention, establishing credibility, and driving meaningful conversion,” he said.
Through the expanded platform, businesses will be able to engage users in real time using verified identities, reducing the risks associated with spam and fraud while improving customer trust.
The Business Chat feature also provides partners with data-driven insights, including real-time analytics and engagement metrics, allowing for more targeted and responsive communication strategies.
The rollout is being driven through partnerships with firms such as Gupshup and OneXtel in India, as well as Globe Teleservices, Cloudcom, and Sling Africa in other international markets.
Truecaller said the initiative allows partners to tap into its global user base of more than 500 million active users, offering businesses a direct and trusted channel to reach customers in an increasingly crowded digital environment.
Headquartered in Stockholm and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Truecaller has become a widely used communications platform, with over one billion downloads globally. The company reported identifying 68 billion spam and fraud calls in 2025 alone.
