China Strengthens Zambia’s Healthcare Through Health Silk Road Partnership
China and Zambia have continued to deepen their collaboration in the medical sector, as part of the broader Health Silk Road initiative.
Chinese medical professionals and advanced technologies have crossed continents to support Zambia in cultivating local talent and improving its healthcare services.
West China Hospital of Sichuan University, a pioneer in international medical cooperation, has actively provided medical aid to Africa, helping partner countries enhance healthcare standards.
Luo Fengming, President of West China Hospital, said the hospital aims to explore new avenues for cooperation with Zambian medical institutions and industries.
“Our goal is to advance healthcare development, benefit more people in both countries, and contribute to building a closer China-Africa community with a shared future,” Luo stated.
This partnership highlights the growing role of international collaboration in strengthening Zambia’s medical capacity and improving access to quality health services for its population.
