The Secretary to the Cabinet also uhighlighted the need for a balanced and inclusive agricultural sector, calling for increased participation of Zambians in commercial farming while sustaining investment in the industry.
Meanwhile, prominent commercial farmer Joe Daka commended Government for what he described as sound policy direction in supporting agricultural development.

He further stressed the importance of maintaining strong systems aligned with international standards, highlighting consistency, transparency and accountability as key to sustaining growth.
Mr Daka also called for continued engagement between Government and farmers, particularly through regular field visits, which he said help address challenges and improve operations.
