Africa Accelerates AI and Cloud Adoption with Cassava Technologies’ New Programme

Cassava Technologies, a global technology leader of African heritage, has today unveiled its Cassava Cloud Partner (CCP) programme, designed to boost the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and cloud technologies across Africa and Latin America.

The initiative allows mobile network operators and system integrators to consume, resell, or distribute AI, cloud, and digital services using Cassava’s infrastructure and platforms.

The programme forms part of the company’s wider strategy to build a sovereign AI ecosystem in Africa, enabling enterprises, developers, and entrepreneurs to deploy AI-powered solutions that address the continent’s unique challenges.

“Through the CCP programme, we are collaborating with partners to extend access to AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, digital capabilities, and solutions,” said Ahmed El Beheiry, Group COO and Group Chief Technology and AI Officer at Cassava Technologies. “This will empower African enterprises to innovate while fostering digital inclusion and creating new growth opportunities.”

The CCP programme offers four key value propositions. These include access to NVIDIA Cloud Partner solutions, Cassava’s turnkey AI Factory, native AI solutions, and CAIMEx, a localised multi-model platform that provides unified access to leading AI models through regional AI factories.

CAIMEx includes tools such as the Customer Experience Conversational Interface, Geospatial AI Operations, and Cassava Autonomous Networks, enabling advanced AI operations for customers.

Cassava Technologies also emphasises scalable deployment of compute capabilities in compliance with local regulations, removing barriers such as high infrastructure costs through a flexible, managed approach. This supports the company’s vision of delivering enterprise and national-level AI solutions while maintaining control over data and digital assets.
