NETSCOUT Expands AI-Ready Smart Data Solutions for Service Providers
NETSCOUT Systems, Inc., a global provider of observability, AIOps, cybersecurity and DDoS protection solutions, has announced the expansion of its Omnis AI Insights offering to support communications service providers in deploying agentic artificial intelligence for customer experience and network operations.
The move enables service providers to transform vast volumes of raw network traffic into AI-ready smart data, creating a robust data foundation for AI agents that can enhance customer experience, enable predictive maintenance and strengthen network security while reducing operational costs and risk.
The announcement comes amid growing industry momentum around artificial intelligence in the telecommunications sector. According to a recent C-level survey by McKinsey & Company, 64 percent of telecom operators are scaling their AI initiatives, with AI agents cited as a major driver. However, 45 percent of respondents identified data challenges as the main barrier to scaling AI effectively.
NETSCOUT’s Omnis AI Sensor for Service Providers delivers curated, real-time smart data designed to optimise customer experience and assure service quality across complex environments, including 5G, radio access networks, core networks, multi-access edge computing and transport layers.
The solution provides a high-fidelity dataset that reduces the risk of AI inaccuracies by minimising the need for human intervention, improving trust in AI-driven insights and supporting more confident decision-making.
By correlating data across mobile and fixed networks into a single, unified view, the platform enables operators to gain accurate and timely insights into network performance, service impact and real subscriber experiences. NETSCOUT said this approach supports faster root-cause analysis, improved service quality and a clearer understanding of how network behaviour affects customers across different domains.
Complementing this capability, the Omnis AI Streamer for Service Providers allows operational teams to convert large volumes of network telemetry into actionable intelligence. Through a programmable data curation engine and intuitive playbook tools, teams can extract, aggregate and label high-value signals tailored to specific operational needs.
Optional machine-learning enrichment, such as outlier detection and contextual classification, further refines the data, producing smaller and faster-to-process streams that can be consumed directly by external AI agents and analytics platforms.
Commenting on the development, Richard Fulwiler, Senior Director of Product Management at NETSCOUT, said AI agents are only effective when powered by well-curated, multi-domain intelligence drawn from real network activity.
“By significantly reducing data volume and complexity, while enhancing security and lowering infrastructure demands, we are helping service providers transform customer service from a cost centre into a strategic asset that protects revenue and builds customer loyalty,” he said.
NETSCOUT will showcase its latest AI-driven solutions for telecom networks at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 2 to 5 March 2026, where the company will demonstrate how its technologies support next-generation network operations and customer experience management.
NETSCOUT Systems, Inc. serves many of the world’s largest enterprises, service providers and public sector organisations, delivering visibility and protection against cyber threats and network performance disruptions through its deep packet inspection technology at scale.
