Emirates Skywards Lets Members Convert Miles into Cashback
Emirates Skywards has unveiled a new way for members to use their Miles, allowing Skywards Everyday users in the UAE to convert Skywards Miles directly into cashback on everyday purchases.
The new feature, available through the Skywards Everyday app, enables members to earn or convert Miles across a network of more than 500 partner brands in categories including dining, shopping, beauty and wellness, groceries and services.
Participating brands include Costa Coffee, Salt, Al Jaber Optical, Swarovski, NARS, Cole Haan, Tory Burch, Borders, Barry’s, BinSina Pharmacy and Lacoste.
To mark the launch, Emirates Skywards is offering a limited-time promotion, with members in the UAE receiving 50 per cent off Miles converted into cashback until 28 February 2026.
Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, said the new option reflects the programme’s focus on flexibility and everyday value.
He said members can now choose to earn Miles or convert them into cashback while spending across some of the UAE’s most popular brands, adding further rewards to routine activities.
Using the Skywards Everyday app, members can link up to five Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards and earn Miles automatically when making eligible purchases. When converting Miles, the app prompts users to choose between earning Miles or receiving cashback.
Members earn one Mile for every AED 3 spent on most categories, and one Mile for every AED 5 spent on groceries and pharmacy purchases, with opportunities to earn more when using an Emirates Skywards Credit Card. Visitors to the UAE can also use the app to earn Miles during their stay.
Emirates Skywards was named Best Global Airline Loyalty Programme at the International Loyalty Awards 2025. With more than 37 million members worldwide, the programme offers four membership tiers—Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum—each providing exclusive benefits.
Members can earn and spend Miles across a wide partner network, including airlines, hotels, car rental services and lifestyle brands. Rewards range from flight tickets and upgrades to hotel stays, retail shopping and exclusive experiences.
