Top African Influencers Honoured for Digital Creativity at AFCON Morocco
TECNO Mobile, in partnership with TikTok Live and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has celebrated Africa’s leading digital creators at the TECNO Glory Night Awards, held on the sidelines of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The landmark event brought together pan-African key opinion leaders (KOLs), football legends, media representatives, and TECNO executives to honour creativity, cultural influence, and digital storytelling inspired by TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” campaign.
The campaign, launched during AFCON, encouraged creators across the continent to showcase moments of personal achievement, joy, creativity, and growth using TECNO’s AI-powered technology. The initiative generated widespread engagement, with creators producing compelling photo and video content that reflected Africa’s vibrant digital culture.
As TECNO elevated its long-standing partnership with AFCON to become an Official Global Partner, the brand used the Glory Night Awards to reinforce its commitment to empowering Africa’s creative ecosystem. Influencers from more than 20 African countries attended the ceremony, highlighting the growing intersection of sport, technology, and culture on the continent.
The evening featured five major awards recognising different dimensions of creative excellence.

Beyond the awards ceremony, TECNO curated an immersive product experience zone showcasing its latest AI-powered devices. Nigerian music artist Joeboy explored TECNO’s mobile photography features, including real-time editing tools designed to support creators on the move.
A highlight of the experience was the TECNO AI-powered 3D photo station, where creators tested enhanced low-light and portrait optimisation features. The interactive setup encouraged behind-the-scenes content creation, turning the experience itself into shareable digital moments.
At the TECNO AI Ecosystem showcase, creators engaged with hands-on demonstrations of smart devices, including VR equipment and AI translation and summarisation tools on the MEGAPAD, underscoring how TECNO’s interconnected ecosystem enhances creative efficiency and reach.
