Madison Financial Services PLC Announces AGM Resolutions

Madison Financial Services Plc (MFS), a leading Zambian financial services provider, has released the results of its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on 22nd August 2025 both virtually and at the InterContinental Hotel in Lusaka.

Shareholders approved key items on the agenda, including the adoption of the minutes of the 8th AGM, the Director’s Report, and the Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December 2023.

The appointment of the Company’s Auditors was confirmed, with shareholders authorising the Board to determine their remuneration.

In terms of Board changes, shareholders confirmed the appointment of Mr Jerry Soko as an Independent Non-Executive Director and re-elected Mr Chitongwa Siame as Non-Executive Director. Dr Lawrence Sikutwa retired from the Board, having opted not to stand for re-election.

A special resolution on the waiver of the mandatory offer was deferred to an Extraordinary General Meeting to allow shareholders sufficient time to consider the matter. No additional business was raised at the AGM.

The Board of MFS has assured shareholders that it will continue to provide updates on company developments.
