The event, attended by clients, staff and media representatives, highlighted the bank’s commitment to creating life-changing opportunities for its customers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standard Chartered Bank Chief Executive Officer, Sonny Zulu, said: “This campaign has been nothing short of phenomenal. Not only have we disbursed over 1,500 loans, but we have also seen the joy that prizes such as smartphones and solar packages bring to our clients. Today, we are thrilled to transform one lucky customer’s life with this Ford Ranger Wildtrak. Congratulations to Mr Sikazwe.”

Mr Sikazwe expressed his gratitude: “I am truly humbled and grateful to Standard Chartered Bank for this life-changing reward. I never imagined that simply taking a loan could result in winning such a big prize. This is a blessing for me and my family.”

The Personal Loan Campaign: Wildtrak Reloaded also awarded weekly and monthly prizes, including 24 Solar Solution packages and over 300 Samsung A3 smartphones. Over 1,500 loans were disbursed during the campaign.

Mr Sikazwe follows 2023 winner Mr Henry Phiri from Lusaka as the second recipient of a Ford Ranger under the initiative. The campaign forms part of Standard Chartered Bank’s efforts to enhance customer experience through meaningful rewards.
