Synergy Seeds Backs Mazabuka AgriExpo 2025 as Catalyst for Agricultural Growth
Synergy Seeds Zambia has announced its sponsorship of the 2025 Mazabuka AgriExpo, positioning itself as a key partner in driving agricultural transformation and farmer empowerment.
The inaugural AgriExpo, scheduled for 10–11 October at the Mazabuka Turf Club, will bring together farmers, agribusinesses, and innovators to showcase technologies shaping Zambia’s agricultural future.
Synergy Seeds Zambia, one of the country’s fastest-growing seed companies, will highlight its expanding portfolio of high-performance, locally adapted seed solutions. These include high-yield maize hybrids such as SY6444 and drought-tolerant varieties of soya bean and wheat designed for diverse Zambian and Southern African agro-ecological zones.
“We are not just a seed company – we are partners in every farmer’s journey,” said Brian Mhango, Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Seeds Zambia. “From the soil to the harvest, Synergy Seeds is proud to stand with Zambian growers, offering resilient seeds that deliver value and investing in a future free of hunger.”
Visitors to the Expo can expect live seed trials, performance demonstrations, expert consultations on crop planning, and special promotions for farmers and agro-dealers.
Rooted in Mazabuka and the wider Southern Province, often regarded as Zambia’s agricultural hub, Synergy Seeds sees the Expo as a platform to deepen engagement with farmers, strengthen dealer networks, and promote seed technologies tailored to local conditions.
“We’re here to support the backbone of Zambia – the farmer. Whether you’re planting one hectare or one lima, Synergy Seeds is committed to your growth,” the company said in a statement.
The Mazabuka AgriExpo 2025 will run daily from 08:00 to 18:00, offering a dynamic programme of exhibitions, demonstrations, and networking opportunities for the agricultural community.
