Emirates Skywards Introduces Flight Rewards in Premium Economy

Emirates Skywards, the award-winning loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, has launched flight rewards for travel in its Premium Economy cabin. The new offering allows more than 35 million members worldwide to redeem Skywards Miles for Classic Rewards and Upgrade Rewards, marking a significant enhancement to the programme.

Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the introduction of flight rewards on Emirates’ highly coveted Premium Economy cabin. This has been in development for some time and comes following the huge success, positive feedback, and strong demand by members to utilise Miles on Premium Economy – especially on popular long-haul destinations such as London, Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. We are confident this enhancement will further enrich the travel experience, staying true to our brand promise of always flying customers better.”

Members can now book Premium Economy tickets from 15,000 Miles (one-way), while upgrades from Economy start at 7,020 Miles. Upgrades can be arranged in advance or at check-in, subject to availability.

Emirates’ Premium Economy has become a signature travel experience, featuring cream leather reclining seats with up to 40 inches of pitch, footrests and calf rests, premium dining options, and the award-winning ice inflight entertainment system with a 13.3-inch screen. The cabin has received multiple global accolades, including ‘Best Premium Economy’ by AirlineRatings.com in the Airline Excellence Awards 2024.

The launch follows Emirates’ ongoing US$5 billion retrofit programme, which will see 219 aircraft fully refurbished with Premium Economy cabins. By March 2026, the airline plans to serve 68 cities with the product, offering up to 4 million Premium Economy seats annually.

Customers can book tickets and rewards via emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates Retail stores, contact centres, or travel agents.
