Emirates Introduces Rare Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne in First Class

Emirates has enhanced its luxury offering by serving the rare Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne to First Class passengers across all routes departing Dubai.

Through its exclusive partnership with Moët Hennessy, Emirates remains the only airline granted direct access to this celebrated vintage, which will be available for a limited time. The Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 has received outstanding global acclaim for its depth, intensity and refined character, making it one of the most coveted champagnes in the world.

Both Dom Pérignon Vintage and Rosé Vintage are produced only in exceptional years, but each presents a distinct interpretation of the iconic terroir. While the white Dom Pérignon Vintage blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with elegance and finesse, the Rosé is crafted with a greater proportion of Pinot Noir, delivering boldness, sensuality and rich complexity.

The 2009 Rosé, matured for 12 years before release, offers an expressive bouquet of rose petals, saffron and orange oil, complemented by layers of raspberry, cherry, cassis and fig, evolving into deeper notes of liquorice and gingerbread. On the palate, it is both enveloping and structured, with a persistent finish.

Emirates invests heavily in its world-renowned wine programme, having spent more than US$1 billion over the past 16 years to secure exceptional wines at the earliest stages, ensuring they mature to perfection in its French cellars. With 6.5 million bottles currently ageing, some will not be served until 2035.

The airline serves more champagne than any other carrier worldwide and exclusively offers a collection that includes Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2006, Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot vintages, as well as Chandon Vintage Brut 2019 in Premium Economy.

First Class customers eager to experience the Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 can check availability through the ‘What’s on your flight’ feature on emirates.com or via the Emirates app.
