Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc Declares Interim Dividend
Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC Plc) has announced an interim dividend of US 3.9 cents per ordinary share, equivalent to ZMW 0.9122 per share at the Bank of Zambia mid-rate on the date of declaration.
The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, in accordance with the Securities Act No. 41 of 2016 and the Lusaka Securities Exchange Listing Rules. The dividend will be payable to shareholders registered in CEC Plc’s share register at the close of business on Friday, 14 November 2025.
Given the Lusaka Securities Exchange’s three-day rolling settlement system, the last day to trade and qualify for the dividend is Tuesday, 11 November 2025. Payments are scheduled to be posted on or about Monday, 17 November 2025.
Shareholders are advised to ensure their bank account details are up to date to facilitate timely payments.
