Emirates Expands Premium Economy Offering to Four More Cities

Emirates is set to expand its Premium Economy footprint by introducing the upgraded cabin on more routes across the Middle East and West Asia. Passengers travelling to and from Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain will soon experience the airline’s latest onboard products aboard its Airbus A350, retrofitted Airbus A380s, and Boeing 777s.

From 26 October 2025, Emirates’ EK903/904 services to Amman will be operated by a four-class A380 with refreshed interiors, including Premium Economy. The upgrade will ensure that customers on both daily flights benefit from the airline’s most sought-after products.

Mumbai will see the addition of a retrofitted Boeing 777 on EK504/505, also starting 26 October, offering enhanced cabins on 22 weekly flights. Meanwhile, Muscat will receive Emirates’ new Airbus A350 on all nine weekly services from 30 October, giving travellers access to the carrier’s latest signature interiors.

Bahrain will be exclusively served by upgraded aircraft from 4 December, when an additional retrofitted Boeing 777 will operate on EK833/834 services every Thursday. Once deployed, all flights to Bahrain will feature Emirates’ Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class cabins.

These enhancements will raise Emirates’ Premium Economy operations to more than 635 weekly flights across its global network. By winter 2025, the airline expects to serve 68 cities with aircraft featuring Premium Economy, with 36 of them operating exclusively with the acclaimed cabin.

Emirates’ ambitious retrofit programme is one of the largest in aviation history, with aircraft being completed at a pace of one every three weeks. To date, 67 aircraft have already been refurbished, and the airline plans to retrofit a total of 219 aircraft, including 110 A380s and 109 Boeing 777s. Currently, Emirates also operates nine A350s to 15 destinations.

By the end of 2025, Emirates expects to offer over 2 million Premium Economy seats, up from its current 1.8 million. Tickets are available via emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates Retail stores, and both online and offline travel agents.
