Emirates Crowned ‘Best Long Haul Airline’ at Telegraph Travel Awards 2025

Emirates has once again soared to the top, securing the title of ‘Best Long Haul Airline’ at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2025. This win marks a three-year recognition streak for the Dubai-based airline, which was also honoured in 2023 and earned the title of ‘World’s Best Airline’ in 2024.

Voted by over 20,000 readers of Telegraph Travel, the accolade recognises Emirates’ exceptional global service, innovative products, and unmatched inflight experience. The award was presented during a prestigious ceremony at the Pompadour Hotel Café Royal in London, where Helen Breen, Emirates’ Leisure Sales Manager in the UK, accepted the honour on behalf of the airline.

This year alone, Emirates was named 2025’s Most Recommended Global Brand by YouGov, becoming the only airline to appear on its top 10 list worldwide.

In line with its “Fly Better” promise, Emirates has significantly expanded its offerings. The airline added new routes to Shenzhen, Da Nang, Siem Reap, Damascus, and Hangzhou, and launched its new Emirates A350 to 10 destinations, with 17 planned by year-end. It also rolled out 61 refurbished aircraft, unveiled nine new retail stores across three continents, and introduced refined Business Class dining featuring 18 new dishes and exclusive champagne pairings.

Emirates Skywards, the airline’s loyalty programme, has enhanced its member benefits through expanded partnerships with Garuda Indonesia, AEGEAN, flydubai, Marriott Bonvoy, and ALL Accor Live Limitless.

In the UK, Emirates operates 133 weekly flights, including multiple daily A380 services to London Heathrow, Manchester, and Birmingham, reaffirming its strong commitment to the market. The airline has also reported a 12% year-on-year increase in UK flight searches, particularly to long-haul destinations such as Australia, Japan, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand.

Passengers continue to enjoy Emirates’ world-renowned hospitality, regionally inspired cuisine, and ice, its award-winning inflight entertainment system offering over 6,500 channels.
