Emirates Launches ‘Emirates First’ at Dubai International for a New Era of Luxury Travel

Emirates has officially opened ‘Emirates First’, an exclusive new First Class check-in experience at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport (DXB). Designed for Emirates’ First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members, the newly reimagined facility offers an opulent and seamless gateway to premium travel, blending style, privacy, and comfort at every touchpoint.

Positioned just steps from the Emirates Terminal 3 departure entrance, Emirates First is marked by a grand golden entryway leading into a refined private space. The interior is adorned with a calming palette of warm earth tones, bronze and gold accents, and elegant design elements such as marble floors, wooden finishes, and plush leather seating. A magnificent back-lit Ghaf Tree—the UAE’s national tree—along with Rolex clocks and fresh floral arrangements, adds a touch of heritage and sophistication.

Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer, noted that the investment reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the premium customer experience. “We invest heavily in upgrading our ground products, and Emirates First will offer a unique and private environment to our First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members. This is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the overall travel journey with unmatched convenience and elegance,” he said.

In the new check-in area, passengers can complete formalities while seated, with dedicated Emirates hosts using iPads to assist them. Families can relax in comfort as one member handles the check-in for all, or opt for traditional counters featuring striking marble and brass designs. Luggage is sent directly via dedicated First Class belts, and passengers can then move swiftly through Immigration and Security.

From there, travelers can access one of Emirates’ three First Class Lounges at DXB, where they enjoy chef-prepared à la carte meals, premium beverages, complimentary spa treatments, business centers, kids’ areas, and concierge duty-free shopping. The new facility is a key part of Emirates’ broader First Class offering, which includes door-to-door chauffeur service, 43 exclusive lounges worldwide, and award-winning inflight hospitality.

The launch of Emirates First follows the airline’s recent in-flight enhancements for First Class passengers, introduced in May 2025. These include engraved Robert Welch caviar bowls, rustic cheeseboards, keepsake wine and dining menus, and a new white-glove cabin crew service—all designed to finesse the finer points of luxury travel.

With 26,800 First Class seats offered weekly, Emirates remains the world’s largest operator of international First Class travel. The opening of Emirates First solidifies the airline’s leading position in premium aviation, setting a new standard for elegance, efficiency, and elevated service in the global travel experience.
