Emirates Unveils ‘Emirates First’ – Redefining Luxury Check-In for Global First Class Travelers
Emirates has officially launched Emirates First at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport (DXB), redefining luxury travel for its First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members. The newly designed check-in area offers a serene, private space featuring elegant interiors, a refined seating lounge, and discreet service designed to enhance comfort and convenience.
The space is marked by a grand golden entrance and luxurious finishes—from leather seating and soft lighting to Emirates’ signature bronze and gold accents. Inspired by the airline’s award-winning First Class lounges, the area includes a feature wall adorned with Emirates’ signature Rolex clocks, a fresh flower centerpiece, and a glowing Ghaf Tree tribute.
Speaking at the opening, Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer, emphasized the airline’s commitment to investing in premium travel: “Emirates First will offer a unique and private environment to our First Class customers. We know our customers value privacy and convenience, and this adds a new level of hospitality to the check-in experience.”
Check-in formalities are handled via iPads while guests relax in the lounge. Families can be seated while one member completes check-in for all, and baggage is swiftly processed at bespoke marble and brass counters.
Once checked in, guests can access one of three dedicated Emirates First Class lounges at DXB, offering gourmet à la carte dining, spa services, business centers, and shopping concierge. Emirates First Class travelers also benefit from door-to-door chauffeur service and access to 43 Emirates lounges globally.
This opening is part of Emirates’ broader investment in First Class services. Recent enhancements include a keepsake menu featuring curated wine and food pairings, new caviar serviceware, rustic cheeseboards, and gloved hospitality onboard.
With 26,800 First Class seats per week, Emirates remains the world’s largest operator of international First Class travel.
