Huawei Cloud Unites APAC Partners to Accelerate AI-Powered Growth at 2025 Summit
Huawei Cloud brought together over 400 ecosystem partners from more than 10 countries and regions at its APAC Partner Summit 2025, held in Thailand under the theme “Go Together, Grow Together.”
The summit spotlighted Huawei Cloud’s strategic roadmap for accelerating artificial intelligence (AI) deployment and digital transformation across Asia Pacific (APAC), bolstered by collaboration, innovation, and ecosystem empowerment.
In her keynote, Jacqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service, reaffirmed Huawei Cloud’s dedication to helping partners harness AI opportunities across key sectors such as government, finance, telecom, and the Internet.
Shi highlighted the company’s efforts to enhance its AI cloud service offerings, enabling partners to co-create tailored solutions for high-impact industry scenarios.
Huawei Cloud has also launched a regional competence center in APAC to support partners through training, delivery assistance, and joint go-to-market activities — a move designed to drive long-term partner monetization and business sustainability.
“We are committed to building a partner-first ecosystem that aligns AI capabilities with real-world customer needs,” Shi said.
APAC continues to be a hotbed for digital transformation, and Huawei Cloud is investing in regional growth with five cloud regions and 18 availability zones, ensuring low-latency (50 ms) coverage across the region. Over the past five years, the company’s business in APAC has grown thirtyfold, with more than 2,500 local partners and a 75% surge in partner revenue in 2024.
Sunny Shang, President of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific, introduced the Partner Sales Acceleration Program 2.0, which includes:
- Co-development of 50 industry solutions
- Increased market development fund (MDF) investments
- Millions of dollars in test coupons
- Optimized opportunity-sharing mechanisms
Shang emphasized that Huawei Cloud is building an open, collaborative, and sustainable ecosystem designed to unlock new business models and opportunities.
Recognizing AI as a general-purpose technology reshaping industries, Huawei Cloud is scaling its “Cloud for AI” and “AI for Cloud” strategy to support enterprises and partners.
Joy Huang, President of Strategy & Industry Development, presented Huawei Cloud’s six AI capabilities:
- High-quality, secure cloud services
- Global infrastructure (KooVerse)
- Cloud-native technologies
- Advanced foundational AI models
- Data-AI convergence (knowledge lake)
- Cloud-network-device integration
William Fang, Chief Product Officer, highlighted the AI-native CloudMatrix, distributed cloud solutions, and Pangu models for scenario-specific integration into core business processes. The new AI computing centers across APAC provide the infrastructure needed for enterprises to natively build and scale AI applications.
To further catalyze innovation, Huawei Cloud launched the APAC AI Pioneer Plan, aimed at accelerating AI adoption through collaborative solution development with ecosystem partners.
Huawei Cloud’s Ken Kang, President of Global Ecosystem, stressed the importance of a full-stack, open AI ecosystem built on co-development and shared innovation. The company is empowering partners with differentiated offerings and supporting cross-sector AI deployment.
Yu Liang, Director of Overseas Cloud Ecosystem Development & Operation, outlined the Partner Collaboration Enablement (PCE) Program, which focuses on:
- Joint solution development
- Talent cultivation through university collaborations
- Opportunity-sharing to unlock new markets
Dale Chen, Director of Partner Development, outlined a two-pronged APAC strategy: advancing industry-specific solutions (e.g., Internet, finance, telecom), and enhancing sales acceleration via precision marketing, GTM (go-to-market) support, TAM (Total Addressable Market) alignment, and healthy market practices.
Jet Liu, Director of Public Cloud Operations, introduced solutions designed for SMBs including:
- All-scenario LLM Solution
- Flexus, a platform tailored for SMBs
- Dify, an open-source AI app development platform with enhanced reliability
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) tools for knowledge-driven chat services
These tools aim to reduce integration barriers and enable SMBs to leverage AI seamlessly and securely.
At the summit, leading institutions such as AIS, Orange Business, SCash Global, MFEC, Silverlake, OnePro Cloud, Automated Systems, Promes, and Chulalongkorn University showcased successful joint innovations with Huawei Cloud. From real-time financial solutions to academic collaborations in AI training, the summit highlighted Huawei Cloud’s tangible impact on digital transformation.
With over 45,000 partners and 12,000 KooGallery offerings, Huawei Cloud is strategically positioning itself as the AI cloud partner of choice in Asia Pacific. The company pledged to continue localizing solutions, enabling partners, and advancing digital intelligence through open collaboration.
