This collaboration integrates Ecobank’s Single Market Trade Hub with Afreximbank’s MANSA Digital Repository Platform to foster seamless cross-border transactions and enhance customer due diligence.
The partnership allows users of the Ecobank Single Market Trade Hub to access MANSA’s comprehensive database for streamlined know-your-customer (KYC) and customer due diligence (CDD) processes.
Simultaneously, MANSA users can connect with the Trade Hub to explore trade opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), aimed at unifying Africa’s 1.4 billion-strong market.
The Ecobank Single Market Trade Hub connects African businesses, providing insights on the AfCFTA and match-making tools for importers and exporters. Leveraging Ecobank’s trade and payment solutions across 35 African markets, it simplifies business transactions, creating a robust trade network.
The MANSA platform acts as a centralized repository for due diligence on African entities. By providing verified information, it addresses compliance challenges, promotes governance, and creates visibility for African SMEs in local and global markets.
Businesses onboarded to MANSA gain an Africa Entity Identifier (AEI) code, enabling them to access Afreximbank’s diverse financial products.
This partnership underscores a shared vision to boost intra-African trade and compliance while eliminating information gaps. By enabling interoperability between the platforms, businesses in 35 countries can navigate regulatory requirements with ease, fostering deeper economic integration across the continent.
