KCM Management Spreads Festive Cheer, Emphasizes Safety and Excellence

The management of Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) this week shared festive greetings and goodwill messages with employees across all operations. The occasion was led by Chief Financial Officer Manish Saxena, who emphasized the importance of safety and teamwork during the holiday season.

“Your safety is our top priority,” Mr. Saxena said. “We must look out for one another and ensure that everyone returns home safely at the end of each shift. This is the true spirit of a brother’s keeper.”

Reiterating KCM’s production goal of 300,000 tonnes, he encouraged employees to maintain a diligent and positive work ethic.

“To achieve our ambitious target, we must strive for excellence in our tasks and cultivate improved work habits,” he added.

Director of Mining Praveen Sharma also addressed employees, emphasizing the significance of safeguarding mine assets as a patriotic duty.

He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to reach new milestones, saying, “Protecting KCM’s assets is a responsibility we all share. Together, we can continue achieving great things.”

Both leaders extended warm wishes to employees, their families, and business partners, celebrating the unity of the KCM family and expressing optimism for a prosperous 2025.
