Emirates and flydubai are celebrating seven years of reshaping the skies with their highly successful partnership, offering travellers unparalleled access to over 225 destinations in more than 100 countries. Since their collaboration began, the two airlines have drastically expanded travel possibilities and improved customer experiences across the globe.
The partnership enables Emirates passengers to explore 118 flydubai destinations, while flydubai customers can access 136 Emirates routes. With an average of 275 codeshare flights daily, travellers enjoy greater flexibility and more departure options.
Since 2017, Emirates and flydubai have collectively operated over 1.5 million flights, carrying more than 19 million passengers, equating to the combined populations of Paris and New York City.
Customer convenience is at the heart of the partnership, with streamlined check-in processes, efficient baggage transfers, and optimized schedules at Dubai Airports. flydubai passengers benefit from over 300 weekly departures from Terminal 3, while Business Class passengers enjoy the luxury of the dedicated check-in area at Terminal 2, featuring personalized services and Fast Track access.
Emirates Skywards, the joint loyalty program, boasts over 2 million members who earn and redeem miles across both airlines. The partnership’s success continues with ongoing investments. Emirates is updating its fleet, adding Premium Economy seats to over 200 aircraft, while flydubai is retrofitting 15 aircraft this year and expanding its premium services, including a new Business Class check-in area at Terminal 2.
