Proflight Zambia Partners with Turkish Airlines, Expanding Global Travel Access
Proflight Zambia has taken a major step toward enhancing global connectivity by signing an interline ticketing agreement with Turkish Airlines, marking its first partnership with a European airline.
This agreement allows Turkish Airlines to seamlessly connect its passengers to Proflight’s domestic and regional routes within Zambia and Southern Africa.
This new collaboration, effective November 2024, simplifies travel arrangements, enabling tourists and business travelers alike to journey to Zambia on a single ticket, opening up access to Zambia’s top destinations, including South Luangwa National Park and Livingstone’s famed Victoria Falls.
Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations, Captain Josias Walubita, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the shared commitment of both airlines to service quality, safety, and reliability.
With Turkish Airlines’ extensive network reaching 53 locations within Türkiye and 296 destinations globally, the agreement will boost Zambia’s visibility as a regional travel gateway.
Furthermore, it is anticipated to positively impact Zambia’s tourism industry and economy, offering easier access for international travelers and fostering tourism growth.
