Emirates Celebrates Oktoberfest with Bavarian Delights Onboard and in Lounges
Emirates, known for its world-class services, is embracing the spirit of Oktoberfest from 21 September to 6 October onboard flights to and from Germany and in select airport lounges. The airline, which operates daily flights from Lusaka and Harare to Dubai, will offer passengers a Bavarian feast across all classes.
Traditional German dishes such as roasted beef fillet, apple strudel, and Kaiserschmarren will be served, along with Oktoberfest-themed snacks in the iconic A380 onboard lounge.
In First and Business Class, customers on flights from Dubai to Germany will be treated to dishes like potato and leek soup, roasted beef fillet, and Kaiserschmarren. Economy passengers can enjoy paprika chicken with sautéed potatoes and sauerkraut.
On return flights from Germany to Dubai, the menu includes delights like braised veal shank and German potato salad. Passengers in the A380 lounge will savour pretzels, Black Forest cake, and German cheesecake.
In addition to food, Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system will offer a selection of German movies and music playlists, ensuring passengers can immerse themselves fully in the Oktoberfest spirit. This includes classic films such as Die Miami Cops and music playlists filled with German tunes.
The celebration extends to lounges in Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg, where customers can enjoy traditional Oktoberfest dishes like Käsepätzle, Obazda with pretzels, and Sauerbraten.
Emirates invites all passengers to celebrate Oktoberfest while flying between Dubai and Germany on its triple daily flights to Frankfurt, and double daily flights to Munich, Dusseldorf, and Hamburg.
