Mohan to Invest $4.5 Million in Kabwe’s President’s Stadium and New Shopping Mall
Mathew Mohan, Chairman of Farmers Nest, has announced a significant investment of $4.5 million for developing a shopping mall and a five-star hotel near the President’s Stadium in Kabwe.
This ambitious project aims to boost the local economy and enhance the stadium’s capabilities.
Mohan plans to allocate part of the funds towards rehabilitating the President’s Stadium, transforming it into an international-standard venue capable of hosting high-profile sports events.
The redevelopment will upgrade the stadium to a modern 25,000-seat facility.
In collaboration with the Zambia Army, the project will not only focus on sports infrastructure but also stimulate local job creation.
Mohan emphasized the importance of corporate social responsibility and the role of businesses in supporting community development.
The new complex is expected to generate numerous employment opportunities for local youths, from construction to the operation of the new facilities.
