Nalin Banda has been officially installed as the President of the Rotary Club of Lusaka Metro, with the ceremony officiated by Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana.
The event, held in Lusaka, marked a significant milestone for the club and celebrated the core values of Rotary International.

Kawana highlighted the crucial role Rotary clubs play in supplementing government efforts across various sectors, including health, education, water, and sanitation.
Recent initiatives by Rotary clubs, such as the launch of Rotary Family Health Days, were commended for bringing health services directly to communities.
Kawana also acknowledged Rotary’s support for the University Teaching Hospital through the donation of specialized equipment, and the National Heart Hospital’s receipt of a modern ultrasound scanner from the Rotary Club.
These contributions exemplify the selflessness and dedication of Rotarians.
