2,551 Zambia Army Male Recruits Pass Out in Mbala District

The Special Forces Training School in Mbala District witnessed a significant milestone as 2,551 male recruits from the Zambia Army intake 37 of 2023 successfully completed their training. The passout parade was officiated by the Minister of Defence, Hon. Ambrose Lufuma MP.

In his address, Minister Lufuma commended the recruits for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout their rigorous training. 

He emphasized the government’s hope that the deployment of these recruits would significantly bolster the manpower and strength of the Zambia Army.

“It is our desire to see the Defence Forces grounded in professionalism, discipline, and loyalty,” stated Lufuma. 

He praised the recruits for demonstrating extraordinary bravery by overcoming challenging mental and physical obstacles in their journey to serve the nation.

The Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing the necessary tools and training for the Defence Forces to perform their duties efficiently and effectively. 

He highlighted recent investments in modern equipment, technology, and infrastructure to ensure that Zambia’s Defence Forces remain a formidable force capable of defending the nation’s territorial integrity and contributing to economic development.

Furthermore, Lufuma announced plans for regular recruitments to maintain the strength and capability of the Defence Forces. 

He also expressed gratitude to the British, French, and United States governments for their continued support of Zambia’s Defence Forces and the Mbala training centre.
