President Hichilema Encourages Zambian Students in the UK to Be Exemplary Ambassadors
The President of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, concluded his visit to the United Kingdom yesterday with an inspiring address to Zambian students studying at various universities across the country.
Speaking at the prestigious Oxford University School of Business, President Hichilema emphasized the importance of exemplary conduct and the impact of their studies on Zambia’s future.
During his address, President Hichilema urged the students to represent Zambia positively in their academic and personal lives.
“Your actions and behavior reflect not only on yourselves but also on our beloved country. Negative behavior can tarnish Zambia’s image, while positive conduct can uplift it,” he stated.
The President highlighted the critical role that the students’ acquired knowledge and skills will play in Zambia’s ongoing economic transformation.
“The economic transformation we are currently undertaking will require more skilled local experts. Your education and expertise will be pivotal in addressing the challenges we face and driving our nation forward,” he added.
President Hichilema also reminded the students of their responsibility to use their education to benefit society.
“Always remember that the knowledge and skills you are gaining should be used to have a positive impact on our society. You are the future leaders and innovators who will shape Zambia’s destiny,” he encouraged.
