Janza Bids Farewell to ZESCO United

ZESCO United has announced the departure of Technical Director Honour Janza after an impactful one-and-a-half-year tenure at the club.

Janza joined the nine-time Zambian Super League Champions in December 2022, becoming the first to hold the position of Technical Director in the club’s newly established management structure.

Janza’s time at ZESCO United has been marked by significant contributions to the club’s growth and development.

Under his guidance, the club has seen considerable improvements, particularly in the coaching strategies implemented across all levels of the team.

This influence is expected to have a lasting positive effect on the club’s future performance.

In a statement issued by Verita Muyunda, ZUFC Public Relations and Media Officer, ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer Charles Kalala expressed his gratitude for Janza’s efforts:

“We would like to thank Honour Janza for his contribution to the growth of this football club. The immense knowledge inculcated into the club, particularly through our coaches at all levels, will go a long way in delivering future success at this great club.”

Janza, an elite CAF Coaching Instructor, departs the club on a high note. The recently concluded season saw ZESCO United finish second in the Zambian Super League, securing a spot in the 2024-2025 CAF Confederation Cup.
