Proflight Boosts Domestic Baggage Allowance to 23kg

Proflight Zambia has announced a customer-friendly update to their baggage policy for domestic flights. Effective immediately, all passengers will receive a free checked baggage allowance of 23kg, regardless of the fare type they purchased.

This revised policy simplifies the flying experience for domestic travelers. They are no longer restricted by fare types and can check a standard 23kg of luggage at no additional cost. This also applies to passengers with existing tickets booked before the change.

For passengers flying on combined Proflight domestic and international itineraries, the international checked baggage allowance of 30kg remains in effect.

Proflight offers a weight-based system, meaning the allowance is not limited to a single bag. Passengers can distribute their 23kg across multiple pieces of luggage for their convenience.

An additional perk is the ability to share baggage allowances. Passengers booked under the same reservation or those with the same family surname under different reservations can combine their allowances.

“We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best possible travel experience,” said Captain Josias Walubita, Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations. “This revised baggage policy reflects our commitment to improving customer satisfaction and streamlining our services.”
