Emirates to Resume Daily Flights to Lagos, Nigeria Starting October 1st
Emirates has announced the resumption of daily flights to Lagos, Nigeria, starting October 1st, 2024, marking a return for the airline after a service pause.
The Lagos route will be served by a Boeing 777-300ER, offering passengers comfortable seating across all classes: 8 First Class suites, 42 Business Class seats, and 304 Economy Class seats.
Passengers can expect regionally inspired meals, a vast selection of beverages, and an award-winning inflight entertainment system featuring over 6,500 channels, including Nigerian movies.
“We are excited to resume our services to Nigeria,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer. “The Lagos-Dubai service has traditionally been popular, and we look forward to reconnecting travelers to Dubai and beyond.”
The resumption of flights strengthens the trade relationship between Nigeria and the UAE. Emirates SkyCargo, the airline’s cargo arm, will offer over 300 tonnes of bellyhold cargo capacity weekly, facilitating exports of Nigerian goods like Kola Nuts, food and beverages, and urgent courier materials to key markets.
Additionally, vital goods like pharmaceuticals and electronics will be imported for Nigerian consumers.
Tickets for the Lagos route are now available for booking on emirates.com or via travel agents.
