President Hichilema Pledges Development and Unity for Zambezi District

President Hakainde Hichilema reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to propel the region and the nation towards development and prosperity.

Acknowledging the historical developmental challenges faced not only by Zambezi District but by many parts of Zambia, President Hichilema declared his determination to rewrite this narrative. 

Despite the obstacles ahead, he assured the nation of his government’s firm grasp on the steering wheel, steering towards a future where development is no longer a distant dream but a tangible reality.

The President emphasized unity, rallying all Zambians, irrespective of background or political affiliation, to join hands in rectifying past mistakes and forging a path towards a brighter future. 

Reflecting on the nation’s journey, he stressed the importance of remembering the past to navigate the present and chart a course for the future.

Addressing the pressing economic challenges, President Hichilema assured the nation of his government’s tireless efforts to stabilize the economy. 

While acknowledging the dynamic nature of global economic conditions, he called for unwavering focus and collective effort to overcome these challenges.

Expressing gratitude to the people of Zambezi District for their continued trust and support, President Hichilema reiterated his commitment to delivering on the promises of development. 

As he concluded his address, he emphasized the unity of Zambia, proclaiming “Nzambi ayikiswili. Kalunga amikisule” (God bless our country), encapsulating the spirit of national unity and resilience.
