Zambian Breweries Announces Spectacular Lineup for 7th Annual Mosi Day of Thunder Music Festival

Brace yourselves for the electrifying rhythms and soul-stirring melodies as Zambian Breweries unveils the much-anticipated lineup for the 7th Annual Mosi Day of Thunder (MDOT) Music Festival. 

Set against the stunning backdrop of Livingstone’s Busiku Grounds on April 27th, 2024, this year’s festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts from across Zambia and beyond.

Themed “Thunder Together,” the festival embodies the spirit of unity and celebration, drawing inspiration from the iconic Mosi Premium Lager and its unwavering commitment to promoting Zambian music and culture. With a rich blend of local talent and international flair, MDOT has become a cornerstone event in Zambia’s cultural calendar.

“We’re thrilled to announce our 7th edition of the Mosi Day of Thunder festival, a testament to our dedication to showcasing the best of Zambian music and arts,” remarked Thais Cavinatto, Country Director of Zambian Breweries. “MDOT is more than just a music festival; it’s a celebration of diversity, unity, and the vibrant spirit of Zambia.”

The stage will be ablaze with performances by some of Zambia’s most beloved artists, including Vinchenzo, Dizmo, Neo Slayer, Mampi, Bobby East, Xaven, James Sakala, 76 Drums, and Chef 187. 

Adding an international flair to the lineup, renowned South African DJ Heavy K, known as Drumboss, will grace the stage as the guest artist, promising an electrifying set that transcends borders.

Against the majestic backdrop of the Mosi-oa-Tunya falls, the Mosi Day of Thunder festival has become a must-attend event for music lovers across Africa, attracting a diverse audience of local, regional, and international tourists. This year’s edition promises to be even more spectacular, with the local tourist and culinary scenes adding to the festival’s allure.
