ROAD TO 2024 U17WWC: Kanyemba Names 34 for Tanzania Tie
Zambia U17 Women’s National Team coach Carol Kanyemba has named a 34-member provisional squad that has entered camp in Lusaka to prepare for the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second round back-to-back qualifiers against Tanzania next month.
Kanyemba has named 12 players from the provincial side that was assembled after the national trials involving all 10 provinces that played the All-Stars team at Sunset stadium on 6 January, 2024.
Zambia will host Tanzania on 3 February before travelling for the away fixture a week later. Winner over two legs will face Uganda or Cameroon in the third round.
Three African teams qualify for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be held Dominican Republic after round four of the qualifiers.
