Ecobank Honors Employee Excellence with a Fully Paid Trip to Cote d’Ivoire
Ecobank Zambia, an affiliate of the Ecobank Group, has demonstrated its commitment to recognizing employee excellence by sending Ms. Ingrid Kangalu, a standout performer, on a fully paid trip to Cote d’Ivoire to witness the opening game of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ms. Kangalu, who earned the title of the bank’s ‘Shining Star,’ was selected through the monthly “Rewards and Recognition Initiative,” which acknowledges employees exhibiting exemplary customer service behavior aligned with the bank’s Customer Experience principles.
The initiative, conducted by Ecobank Zambia, identified Ms. Kangalu based on her outstanding performance and customer recommendations for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ecobank Zambia’s Managing Director, Ms. Aina Moore, emphasized that the trip was well-deserved, highlighting Ms. Kangalu’s understanding and practice of Ecobank’s customer experience principles.
Ms. Moore expressed pride in Ecobank’s sponsorship of the TotalEnergies AFCON and its role as an official sponsor of the 34th edition of the tournament.
She sees this sponsorship as an opportunity for Ecobank, with a presence in 35 African countries, to showcase its Pan-African heritage through football, connecting millions of Africans in celebration.
The TotalEnergies AFCON, a prestigious tournament capturing global attention, aligns with Ecobank’s vision to become a Pan African brand. This partnership provides Ecobank with a unique chance to enhance its brand visibility and engagement, reaching over 500 million viewers worldwide.
As the 34th edition of AFCON unfolds in Abidjan from January 13 to February 11, 2024, Ecobank’s collaboration with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) underscores its commitment to creating memorable experiences and celebrating Africa’s passion for football.
The tournament not only serves as a sporting event but also as a platform for Ecobank to connect with millions of football enthusiasts across the continent and beyond.
