Solicitor General Marshal Muchende Leads Zambian Delegation in Legal Cooperation Talks with Germany
Berlin, Germany – Solicitor General Marshal Muchende, SC, is currently leading a delegation from Zambia for a two-day meeting with the International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) in Germany. The meeting, held under the theme “Strengthening the legal framework for the promotion of Investments,” aims to foster closer legal cooperation between Zambia and Germany.
The primary objective of this initiative is to establish a partnership between Zambia and Germany to enhance legal cooperation and attract affordable capital for investment by aligning Zambia’s legal framework.
The IRZ project, supported by the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as the European Union and the German government, plays a pivotal role in facilitating this collaboration.
The Zambian delegation comprises officials from various key institutions, including the Ministry of Justice, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), and the Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC).
This meeting represents a significant step in strengthening legal ties and promoting investment opportunities between the two nations.
